So we took Copper back to the vet yesterday, to get her a little checkup. She’s been healthy for at least a week now, but still having some loose stools lately (sorry if you were eating). He recommended not feeding her for 24 hours, including meds, and then giving her a bland diet (chicken & rice) for a while. The conversation went like this:

(ring ring) Kat: Hello?

Doc: Hi this is Dr. IthinkI’mslick, how is Copper doing?

Kat: Um, she’s doing great (given it’s been <24 hours since you saw her).

Doc: Great, that’s good to hear. Has she gotten her next round of dewormer medicine?

Kat: Nope, you told us not to feed or medicate her for 24 hours.

BUSTED!!!!!! You know your vet cares when he calls to try and trick you into admitting that you didn’t follow his directions. Gotta love it
