Gmail: What Gmail IMAP Means for You (and Your iPhone)

Lifehacker has a great article on Google’s recent release of IMAP for Gmail. I’ve been using the web interface since I got Gmail and have been very happy with it, but particularly in Firefox it can get bogged down & be a litte trying to use extensively.

I may fire up Thunderbird and Office 2007 to see if either offers a better solution for me than Gmail’s web interface. I especially love that you can now implement full Gmail features (starring, Labels, etc) via IMAP.

Paid/ISP e-mail service what?
