Well, it’s about that time
Yeah, it’s 5am. No, I haven’t been to bed yet. The house is in pretty good shape, the zoo is 110% ready for others to take care of it and we’re almost done with having everything ready to walk out the door.
We’re going to be at RDU by 8:30 and our flight takes off at 9:56. The maximum wait time at the TSA for Thursdays during this time over the past month is like 11 minutes (Link) - I predict we will be killing a lot of time.
One of the more annoying things that Kat luckily thought of: my car will be parked in the overflow parking of our condo neighborhood so that our housesitter can park in the driveway. Well, the HOA requires up to date inspection & registration for cars in overflow parking. What did I discover has lapsed for the past month or two? Yeah. Since Kat’s car will be sitting in the driveway un-moved for the next few weeks, a little sticker switchery and we’re back in business.
Not a whole lot else should be there to surprise us, I hope. We’re eyeing some seat upgrades, particularly for the long leg of the trip - we’ll see how much that costs.
I’ll touch base soon, happy holidays all
