Green is huge right now: carbon neutral business operation, fuel efficient vehicles, power efficient electronics (computers in particular) and more. If a company isn’t talking about how Green it is, its competitors likely are.

This initiative at electronics company Kyocera is very cool and while not the most practical green-contribution a company can make, hopefully it is a sign of how forward thinking the public can expect this company to be in environmental matters in the future.

On a side note I love Subaru’s ads about how its Indiana production facility is carbon neutral, the land around the facility is a designated wildlife habitat, has produced zero landfill for 3 years and either recycles all waste or incinerates it to generate electricity. Just how popular is this? How does 1,353 diggs sound to you?

The solar tree concept has a single "trunk" and, like a tree, has a canopy of solar cells on top. Two electric cars can park next to and plug into a single solar tree.
