$100K, 620HP, and a steering wheel
Let me start off by saying that I love the Corvette ZR1. They took an already robust chassis, engineered the hell out of it for maximum capability, dropped in a fine-tuned supercharged LS-motor, and developed a suspension/tire package that would handle all that muscle with the finesse of an Italian supercar - all to the tune of 620HP, 1g+ on the skidpad, a ride that is still compliant, and $100K.

But c’mon GM. You’ve made so many strides in interior quality. The Holden vehicles redefine Pontiac in a big way. The new CTS puts BMW in their place. The ZR1 brings back the glory days of Corvette, if you’re of the thinking that they ever ended. And yet we see an econocar steering wheel in this $100K beast.
In the end, this is all in good fun - I doubt the buyer of this $100K pasta-rocket-killer will notice the steering wheel as he leaves his teeth fillings back with the two strips of rubber at the stoplight.

P.S. Kudos to Alex for the tip on the steering wheel thievery

Tim,
Not the first time the Corvette has borrowed a steering wheel from another car. I believe the 1975 Vette had a 4 spoke steering wheel that also saw duty in the camaro.
