I think I posted not long ago that there was a pretty sweet deal on tires at Discount Tire Direct. I of course ordered, desperately needing some new meats, and long story short it took them two weeks to find out the tires I ordered were out of stock.

I called once to find out they were waiting on a shipment from the manufacturer, and then they called me a few days later when they found out the tires were unavailable. I placed an order for a different brand and they shipped quickly. Given my own experiences with unreliable shipping information, order overloads and irate customers, I was rather understanding of the situation.

After my tires arrived, I got a CSAT survey in my email and filled it out fairly - mainly dinging them on processing/delivery time. Today I got this e-mail. Kudos Discount Tire Direct! I’ve not purchased tires from TireRack, DTD or any other online store before, so this has definitely made an impression on me.
